Use the checklist to make sure your SMART Board is ready for the new school year!


-Before switching your SMART board on take a damp microfiber cloth and gently wipe down the board.

-Check to see that you have all your SMART board pens.







-Check your cables. The USB cable should be plugged into the SMART board and your PC/laptop. The VGA or HDMI cable should be plugged into your projector and your PC/laptop.

-Switch on your projector FIRST and the switch on your PC/laptop.


-If there is a software issue your SMART board will have a light flashing to alert you. Where the light is located depends on the model of board in your classroom.








-On an SMB680 board the cursor button on the pen tray will flash green if there is a software problem.

-On an SB680 board there is light on the bottom right that will flash if there is a software problem.
